Data Protection Policy
Due to new General Data Protection Regulations we wish to clarify our Policy with regard to the use of your data.
We understand that your personal data is private and take this seriously.
All members will be asked for their name, address, e mail address, telephone number, NCMD/FID number and vehicle registration on applying for membership to the Club. Such information is already collected for existing members. These records are kept by our Membership Secretary only for the smooth running of the club and for the benefit of the members. Most communications to members are now by e mail but in some instances (to administer club activities only) other Committee members may need such information and will ask the Membership Secretary for the information where necessary.
We will not share your personal data with any third party organisations nor with any members of the club, apart from the Committee, unless you have given your express consent to do so.
Membership information will be held for a period of 6 months after members have resigned or lapsed membership renewal, after which it will be deleted.
